This child's quilt is quick and fairly easy. It can be pieced in a weekend, and could be made in several pleasing color combinations. Basically it consists of two different blocks as a background with some colorful fused "livesavers" on top. However, the "lifesavers" are optional and may be left off if you prefer or if you run out of time. You might even choose to change the layout of the blocks, or add a few blocks to make a bed-size quilt.

Scraps may be used for the pinwheels and rings. It is not difficult to make and would look good in many color combinations.
